We would like to introduce the "Minakan Final Disposal Site" in Kumamoto Prefecture as an example of the construction of the FRP boardwalk. In response to the inertia of the Kumamoto Prefecture Minakan Town industrial waste final disposal site, a boardwalk was developed to allow for a stroll around the ponds near the building. As an example of the construction of the "FRP Boardwalk," we introduce the "Okinawa Ocean Expo Park." In implementing universal design measures for the facilities within the park, FRP materials were selected considering their high resistance to salt damage and durability, as well as the simplification of management tasks such as maintenance and cleaning. It is a vast park located next to the Yabe River, featuring a wetland area where water constantly flows from below.
